This site was designed for all “KomiArcticOil” people, their friends and relatives who live in different parts of the world.
Originally designed and launched in 1998, this site has been rebuilt many times and was brought back online in the current format.
The purpose of the site is to inform x-KAO people on whereabouts of their friends and former colleagues. The site contains text and photographic materials covering the period from 1991 through today. This site also contains materials such as stories, poetry, art, and photos submitted by members of this community and other people. We hope that this site will become a meeting point for all friends and people who used to work for KomiArcticOil.
Plans and legal info:
We do not edit any written materials in any way, other than to format it to fit the site’s style. We do not check your written submissions for spelling mistakes. Any materials that you send us become our property for the purpose of publishing. However, you are still holding the authoring rights. You may copy and use any material for your own purpose and non-commercial purpose providing that you will refer to the source of origin (this site).
Any material that you may submit will have your name or pseudonym listed upon publishing next to the article or graphics. The company and the site owners do not carry any responsibility for the submitted content and therefore cannot be held liable for any offensive material than you may wish to contribute. We reserve the right to screen all submissions for offensive content and will remove any material that you may find offensive or inappropriate upon your written request. Graphic and photo materials that your see on this web site have been created by us (except some of the royalty free images that we have acquired or purchased, and which have been subsequently modified to fit our web site style and images and texts posted here that are not related to KAO i.e. general world news and articles that we mention here). If you see any photographs, graphics, articles, or stories that we feature here on any other web site without crediting the source (this web site), this means that someone has copied them without our permission. We do not post images or texts produce by the third parties without mentioning the original source. If you see an image or text that was originally created by you and which you don’t want it to be on this site, please let us know and we will remove it.
If you wish to place your own advertising, such as informing people on your personal event or service that you provide, we will place it on this site free of charge (assuming that you provide the text for the ad yourself).
