An eclectic mix of people of all possible backgrounds and ages (from 4 month old twins to weathered party veterans) gathered at the Silver Creek Ranch last Saturday to celebrate Maria Soumarokova’s (a.k.a. Wormington’s) birthday, dance, sing, pig out on expertly prepared shashlyk, play native drums and Eskimo tambourines, and drink, of course.
The usual ex-KAO gang was enhanced by an inflow of new blood from Maria’s extensive personal network of friends! The party spread over two days and was becoming livelier and livelier as the evening progressed, as evidenced by these pictures. There were a few victims of minor overdrinking and major overeating, but everyone survived, and no serious injuries were incurred. Thanks to Masha for throwing such a fun bash, and once again - Happy Birthday! (April 5, 2003)
