Dear friends,
We wish you all Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
We believe the coming 2003 year will be prosperous, happy and wonderful for you and your families.
Our life in Usinsk is being busy. May be not that happy as in KomiArcticOil but interesting too. I saw the pictures from KAO Calgary party and found out that you all look young and happy.
We also had a party in Usinsk and that was a fun mixed with sadness. Though I have to say, the majority of former KAO personnel have found new jobs.
In SeverTek (where I work in the Finance department now) we have many former KAO people in the field and in office too. I am very glad to work with Jim Guthrie, Gord Casperd, Pat Hanna, Yak Pavlov, John Croshus, Natalia Nizovskaya, Nina Salikova, Valery Kovalev, Rashid Usmanov, Victor Miloradov, Vyacheslav Volkov and other people (their names might be new for you).
At the end of the week Alexander and me are going to Syktyvrar for New Year holidays. We used to have New Year parties there as our daughter and my sister’s family live in this city.
Our daughter Anna is finishing her studies in the University next year and on January 31, 2003 she is having her wedding party! And because of that fact I realize that I am not 20 any more!
It is rather cool in Usinsk –15OC, lots of snow. Usinsk looks festive with multicolored lamps, garlands and Christmas trees.
We are sure you will have wonderful Christmas parties! All the best to you all!
With love
Alexander and Olga Izyurov
